R. Elizabeth "Betsy" Yates and Brian M. Long exchanged wedding vows at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Yardley, Pa., on June 21, 2008. Msgr. Shoemaker performed the double ring Nuptial Mass.
The bride is the daughter of Anne Yates of Yardley, Pa., and Jack and Linda Yates of Wyommissing, Pa. The groom is the son of Thelma Long of Ebensburg, Pa., formerly of Warren, and the late Kevin J. Long.
The groom's cousin, Sarah Long, provided wedding music.

The bride was escorted by her father and attended by maid of honor Alli Markert of Binghamton, N.Y. Bridesmaids were Carolyn Wolf of Lakeland, Colo.; Farrah Chauhdry of New York, N.Y.; and Katheryn Rollings of Arlington, Texas, all friends of the bride. Flower girls were Kyla and Allie Long, nieces of the groom.
J. Kyle Marti of Warren was best man. Groomsmen were Jason Frank of Herndon, Va., cousin of the groom; Shawn Long of Gahanna, Ohio; and Marc Long of Powell, Ohio, both brothers of the groom. Chase Kratzer friend of the bride served as ringbearer.
A reception followed at Washington's Crossing Inn in Washington's Crossing, Pa.
A prenuptial shower was held by Thelma Long in Ebensburg and one by Wendy Saks and the bridemaids in Verona, N.J. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's mother at the Captain's Quarters in Trenton, N.J.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Colgate University and is employed by Victoria's Secret in Columbus, Ohio. Her husband is a 1999 graduate of Warren Area High and a 2003 graduate of Penn State University and is a software programmer for Cardinal Solutions in Columbus.
Following a honeymoon in Aruba, the couple reside at 445 Legacy Court, Westerville, Ohio.
