Robert and Jeanne Valone of 8 Greenbriar Circle, Russell, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 7. Robert Valone and the former Jeanne Anderson were joined in marriage on Aug. 7, 1948, by the Rev. Wygant in a garden wedding at the home of Frank and Jerry Valone in Warren. Mr. Valone is employed as a sales representative at Ed Shults of Warren, and Mrs. Valone is a homemaker.
They have three children, Dr. Dennis Valone, Edinboro; Jim Valone, Russell; and Pam Valone Falber, Warren. They also have five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Their children hosted a dinner celebration in honor of their anniversary at Zebros Restaurant in Westfield, N.Y.
