Area Agency on Aging will serve the following menu at Conewango Towers, Warren Senior Center and Warren Senior Community Center Aug. 4-8: Monday, barbecue pork sandwich; Tuesday, meatloaf; Wednesday, stuffed shells; Thursday, parmesan chicken; Friday,hamburgers. The August birthday picnic will be at Rod and Gun with corn on the cob, hot dogs, baked beans, watermelon and cake. Rip Off will be played after lunch.

Enjoy Senior Day at the Warren County Fair on Wednesday, Aug. 6. The van will leave the Center at 11 a.m. and travel to Pittsfield. The gate fee, when showing your Medicare card, is $4; otherwise it's $8. Cost for the van ride is $3. Remember to bring money for lunch and incidentals. We'll return to the Center no later than 4 p.m. Limited seats, so call in advance.
Parkinson's Disease Support Group will be held on August 6th at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
TV Transition to Digital - it's all the buzz. On Thursday, Aug. 7, at 11 a.m., John Christensen, General Manager of WSEE-TV in Erie, will speak on digital TV and what it means to you. He will answer questions about conversion boxes, cable and satellite TV and antenna TV. Come in and get the picture.
The center will prepare and serve a special luncheon on Monday, Aug. 11: stuffed chicken breast or vegetable lasagna. Cost is $3 which will benefit the center. Served at noon - make reservations by 9 a.m. that day by calling 723-3237. Takeouts available for $3.25.
Phone in your reservation and ride requests for and Old Fashioned Picnic .. it's our August monthly dinner on Tuesday, August 19th, at Betts Park in the pavilion across from the Bocce court. Join us at 6 p.m. for hot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad, chips and dip, and punch, plus lots of good music. Ron Carrington will be our featured singer. Cost is $4 per person and please bring along your own place setting. Reservations and ride requests may be phoned into the Center at 723-3237. The Senior Center van will pick up those needing a ride.
Sunday Dinners will resume in September.
Wonderful News for the Vision Impaired: Due to two generous donors, we now have a Closed Circuit TV Englarger which magnifies items to read, do handiwork, write checks, etc., more easily. This machine is completely user-friendly and is located in the livingroom.
