An article in Saturday's Times Observer

indicated that Kinzua Beach is completely closed. Although the restrooms and concession stand at the beach are closed due to the lack of an adequate waste water treatment system, the beach is open daily from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m., according to Forest Service spokesman Kathy Mohney. There are portajohns in place.

The name of Chester Wroblewski, a World War II U.S. Army veteran, was omitted from a list provided by the Warren County Veterans Affairs office of veterans who had died over the past year.

Darrell Slater, who served in the U.S. Navy, died June 4, 2007.

David P. Shipton’s name also was omitted. He served in the U.S. Navy and died July 2, 2007.

Joseph Solock, a World War II veteran, served in the U.S. Navy, not the Army.
