Kylie Dawn Pearson, daughter of Charles Pearson and Jennifer Phillips, earned a 4.0 grade average during her first semester at California University of Pennsylvania. A 2007 graduate of Warren Area High School, Pearson is a freshman elementary education major and was recently inducted into Delta Zeta Sorority. She plans to mentor this fall.

Todd Landree of Warren has been named to the dean’s list for the 2008 winter term at Johnson & Wales University, Providence, R.I. Landree is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in sports entertainment event management from the Hospitality College at the Charlotte campus. To receive dean’s list commendation, students must earn a grade average of 3.4 or better.

Ian F. Eastman recently graduated from Northwestern Nazarene University, earning a master of arts in religion with a concentration in spiritual formation. Eastman, a graduate of SUNY Empire State College and Jamestown Community College, lives in Jamestown, N.Y., with his wife, Tara, and his children, Heather and Nigel. He is the son of Janet and the late Carl Eastman of Warren.

Christian A. Wood, son of Paul and Joel Wood, was inducted into Lambda Sigma Honor Society at Penn State Behrend. He also received the CRC Outstanding Freshman Chemistry Award. Wood is a 2007 graduate of Warren Area High School.

Wade Charles Gruber, son of Susan Aulbrook and Paul Gruber, Youngsville, and been accepted at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania for the fall term. He has earned Life Rank in the Boy Scouts of America and participates in chorus. He has not declared a major.
