WASHINGTON, Pa. (AP) — Police say a 10-year-old boy has been fatally shot in a western Pennsylvania home, but aren't releasing other details.
Among other things, police in Washington, Pa., about 20 miles southwest of Pittsburgh, aren't saying if they believe the shooting was an accident.
Police have said the boy was a fourth-grader at Washington Park School, but officers and the Washington County coroner have yet to release the boy's name.
Police confirmed the shooting Monday morning, but have not said specifically when, where or how it happened. They planned a news conference later Monday to release additional information.
