HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) — A Pennsylvania woman who drove an arsonist to several western Maryland locations where he set fires last spring is going to prison.

The Herald-Mail newspaper (http://bit.ly/1bSF97m ) reported Thursday that 19-year-old Brandy Sneider-Koontz of Mercersburg, Pa., was sentenced to three years in prison. She also must make restitution of more than $37,000.

Sneider-Koontz is one of eight young adults charged in arsons that did more than $400,000 worth of damage to vehicles and buildings. She pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree arson and an arson conspiracy count.

Prosecutors say she drove 21-year-old Tyler Murray of Williamsport to locations where he set fire to three vehicles. Murray faces sentencing Jan. 17 on 13 arson counts.

Three other co-defendants who struck plea bargains are awaiting sentencing. Three more are awaiting trial.
