FEASTERVILLE, Pa. (AP) — A retired suburban Philadelphia minister is avoiding federal child porn and child molestation charges under a plea deal that transfers his case to county court.

The Bucks County Courier-Times (http://bit.ly/1cbUJh4 ) said the deal was announced Wednesday in the case of 60-year-old Robert Jones of Lower Southampton.

Charges being sent to county court include aggravated indecent assault on a person under 16, indecent assault on an unconscious person and 26 counts of child porn possession.

Prosecutor Nate Spang said Jones will plead guilty as part of the agreement.

Authorities said the former minister at Newtown Reformed Church molested two girls, now 16 and 17, and had nearly 300 images of child porn on his computer.

Jones remains held at Bucks County prison on $2 million bail.
