DUBOIS, Pa. (AP) — Two central Pennsylvania parishes are mourning the death of their priest in a rural car crash.

State police say the Rev. Robert Yetsko was killed Monday when he lost control of his vehicle on Route 36 in Newburg, Clearfield County.

At the time of his death, Yetsko was a Franciscan priest who had been approved to celebrate the Mass in Byzantine churches since 1984.

Yetsko led congregations at Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church in Sykesville, Jefferson County, and Nativity of the Mother of God Byzantine Catholic Church in DuBois, Clearfield County.
