YORK, Pa. (AP) — Authorities in York say human remains found in a cornfield are those of a man missing for several months who killed himself with a drug overdose.
The York Daily Record/Sunday News reported Sunday (http://bit.ly/1fuetuY ) the man had been reported missing from a home in the city on June 28.
The York coroner isn't releasing the man's name, as is office policy for suicide victims.
The paper says a combine operator noticed the decomposed body during a harvest on Saturday.
