BLUE BELL, Pa. (AP) — Police have been searching for three suspects who robbed an eastern Pennsylvania bar, then led police on a chase in a stolen car before disappearing into the woods near a community college.

Police say the robbery happened about 1:30 a.m. Monday at the Whitpain Tavern on U.S. Route 202 in Blue Bell.

The suspects then stole a Ford Mustang and sped away, before ditching the car in the parking lot of the Montgomery County Community College.

Officers were searching for the suspects in nearby woods before dawn.

The school doesn't have dormitories, so no students were believed to be in danger due to the chase and manhunt.

The school announced on its website that the campus won't open until 10 a.m. Monday, because of police activity in the area.
