November 4, 2013
Associated Press

JONESTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Emergency crews say an eastern Pennsylvania man and his 8-year-old daughter have been found about 10 hours after they became lost while hiking in Swatara State Park.

Troopers say Earl and Nicole Furman left their home in Jonestown about 2 p.m. Sunday, but didn't return as scheduled.

Crews formed a search party and found the duo in Cold Spring Township about midnight.

The Furmans told rescuers they had gotten lost while hiking. They weren't injured.
