DRY RUN, Pa. (AP) — Three people in central Pennsylvania are facing charges after police say they stole five goats from a Franklin County property and tried to sell them at an auction.
Pennsylvania State Police in Chambersburg said Monday that 20-year-old Eric Tyler Rosche of Middletown, 18-year-old Samantha Rae Scott of Highspire and a 17-year-old boy from Highspire have confessed.
Police said the trio stole five goats on Sept. 16 and brought them to the Greencastle Livestock Auction, where they tried to auction the goats for money.
The owner was able to positively identify the goats. The victim's name was not released.
