HANOVER, Pa. (AP) — State police say a person was shot while authorities were attempting the serve warrants at a central Pennsylvania home.
Police in York County said troopers and members of a drug task force went to the Hanover home at about 4:45 p.m. Monday to serve two warrants.
A police spokesman said another person entered the home and "became combative." They said a physical altercation ensued during which the person was shot.
Police said the person was flown to York Hospital, where a condition report wasn't immediately available. The officers involved sustained "minor to moderate" injuries.
Police said the two people wanted on warrants were taken into custody. Police and prosecutors are investigating.
