MARIETTA, Pa. (AP) — A central Pennsylvania man is behind bars amid allegations that he intentionally set another man on fire.

Police in Lancaster County said 35-year-old Jeremy Hostetter, of Marietta, has been charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and arson in the incident on Sunday.

Fifty-seven-year-old Marlin Dyer was flown to Johns Hopkins Bayview Burn Center in Baltimore, where he remained in critical condition.

Susquehanna Regional Police said the men were arguing when Hostetter then threw an accelerant on Dyer and set him on fire with a lighter. Witnesses helped put out the flames.

Authorities said the men live within a few blocks of one another and know each other.
