Karen Kathleen Stunder

June 30, 2005
She was born in Erie on March 7, 1943, the daughter of John P. Stunder and the late Grace E. Miler Stunder. She was a graduate of East High School in Erie. She was employed in the finance department of American Meter Company in Erie for nine years. Prior to that, she lived, raised her family and worked in Westfield. She was a member of Wayne Park Baptist Church in Erie. She was an avid reader and angel collector. She loved for her family and is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Holland and her husband, Greg, of Erie, and Johanna Moran and her husband, Richie, of Edinboro, Pa.; two sons, Jason Gross and his wife, Tomi, of Bloomington, Ill. and Jeremy Gross and his fiancée, Kathy Johnston of Westfield; six grandchildren, Zachary Gross of Westfield, Griffin and Madison Holland of Erie, Emily Moran of Edinboro and Scott Lubbers and Alaina Edmunds, both of Bloomington, Ill.; three sisters, Judy Rudd of Carlisle, Pa., Linda Neuburger and her husband, Ken, of Fairview, Pa. and Pat Stunder of Erie; and several aunts, cousins and many nieces and nephews. The family received friends at Burton Funeral Home on June 22nd and a memorial service was held at Wayne Park Baptist Church in Erie on June 23rd with the Rev. Paul Coran officiating. Burial was in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
