Leanne Jeziorski

A native of Jamestown, she was born Sept. 24, 1943, the daughter of Joseph P. and Essie M. Haskins Jeziorski.

She was a senior investigator with Chautauqua County Social Services, where she was employed more than 25 years before retiring due to ill health. She was a 1961 graduate of Falconer High School and attended many Lucille Ball Little Theatre productions.

Leanne will be greatly missed by her daughter in-law, Jackie VanOrd, and will be remembered for being loving and generous to her family and friends.

She is survived by a son, Joseph M. P. Jeziorski of Jamestown; two grandchildren: J. Braedan and Dylan J. VanOrd, both of Jamestown; seven sisters: June Hale of Gardendale, Ala., Patricia J. Newgent of Warren, Lorraine A. Peiffer of Fort Myers, Fla., Essie Anne Burstrom of Jamestown, Linda N. Gasboda of Cherry Creek, Sharon Sue Neubauer of Buffalo and Bonnie M. Gallagher of East Aurora; and three brothers: Richard R. Reardon of Bemus Point, James R. Reardon of Kennedy and Joseph P. Jeziorski of Jamestown.

She was preceded in death by her father on June 19, 1963; her mother on July 2, 1988; and a brother, Norman Haskins, in July 1965.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Richard D. Huber, outreach pastor of New Covenant Assembly, will officiate. Burial will be in the Allen Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
