Lets look at what us taxpayers were told. If you agree to a 30plus million dollar renovation to keep 4 high schools we'll get rid of Sugar Grove, RUSSELL, and I think South street. Now like usual their talk is not the most truthful. We need to move the central office to Russell to save money. Lets see, 39,000 sq. ft. for 8900 dollars works out to about 25CENTS a sq. ft. which includes ALL utilities, lawn care, snow plowing, garbage, and NO major repair costs such as a roof, Water supply, sewage, electric heating systems, a/c etc. Now doesn't Russell have any utility costs? What are Russell's utility costs per year? Why hold onto a bldg. when your landlord is giving you everything cheaper than you can keep your bldg. As taxpayers we are getting very tired of SOFT FIGURES and questionable reports/facts/costs. The elite really don't care. The tax increase will continue along with administration overstaffing and insensitive school board members.

I couldn't agree more with this letter. I along with many others have been wondering how the school board is getting away with this. They have alot to answer for!!

You gotta be kidding me. ALL gov't employees at ALL levels are spoiled brats. They have forgotten who the boss is and we let them. Lucrative, inflated pay/benefits packages are the norm with civil service unions pressuring for even more. Poor (and even criminal) performance is rewarded. VA? IRS? Education? But by all means people, let's keep our voting participation rate at 10-20%.
