"Is the Social Security agency a Nazi agency?"

For the last time there is nothing wrong with the initials S.S. don't be so paranoid.

Are all boats that begin with the initials S.S. Nazi boats?

Is the Social Security agency a Nazi agency?

You are really going to hurt Sally Struthers' and Steven Speilberg's feelings with this nonsense!

I couldn't agree more with this editorial. I know a couple people feel that I am being politically correct or too sensitive about the issue of calling a school ss but I feel those are being to naive. The most popular skin head, Arian brotherhood, racist tattoo is the ss. Racism is still very alive especially in Warren county. To put that on a Childs uniform or team spirit apparel is wrong on many levels. However, it seems that parents in the Eisenhower area are also not happy with the initials ES for their possible new name. Lets face it, this is about pride. Pride contributes to the attitudes of the students, teachers, and community. Attitude has a direct affect on education. Instill pride and unity, allow input on the name. Its not to much to ask.
