Dear James,

Don't believe everything you read. I am going to go ahead and assume that you got your information from "Four Blood Moons" by John Hagee

Like so many other doom sayers before him; his book is full of half-truths and misinformation.

First, there have been other occurrences of these "blood moon" tetrads twith no significant events following or preceding.

Ok, so lets leave those aside (like the author did) and look at the ones that did.

First, the royal decree made during the Spanish Inquistion in 1492; the first tetrad during that time did not occur until 1493 (the final occuring in 1494), a full year AFTER the fact.

Ok, so what about the 1948 statehood for isreal? Again, the next tetrad did not occur for another year later, in 1949

Finally, the Six Day War. This war ended on June 10th, 1967. The "corresponding" tetrad did not occur until 10 months later in 1968.

If these events were meant as warnings from god to the jewish people, then where are the the "blood moons" for the far worse events that occured say during the holocaust or the siege of Jerusalem in 70CE?

Because the jewish people base many of their feast days around the lunar cycle, it is inevitable that thier celebrations will occur during lunar eclipses.

In summary; there is no pattern here... move along.

Just stories. The bible is full of stories written by lowly men. Get real.

According to the Vikings, the end of the world (Ragnarok) should happen any day now! Like tomorrow even!

My understanding that one of the definition of a “tedrad” is, (a group or arrangement of four). Thus it would begin with the first one and end with the fourth one, making it a “tedrad.”

I don’t believe that anywhere in the letter it mentions the end of the world. There are historic dates that are confirmed by NASA along with NASA’s predictions for 2014/15 and the dates.

Those of you who say the end of the world I would like to know where you come up with it???

Too late to worry now, we have all died several times in recent years. I believe the last time was courtesy of the calendar.

Backwoods, I fail to see your point.

Yes, the dates mentioned in the letter are accurate (which I have already admitted to) but it fails to provide a reasonable correlation between the "blood moons" and historically significant events.

As far as end of world, admittedly, there are no direct references; the letter is undeniably connotative (intentionally or not.)

Does anyone have the phone number of a good Ouija board repairman?

MTO, believe it or not those things can generally be fixed at home. There is no need to pay for an expensive Ouija Board repair specialist (who most likely will ask for your first born or the closest living equivalent)

All it requires is a little glue, some paint, and the ritual sacrifice of a small woodland creature to forest gods.

I hope you get your board fixed soon, otherwise you'll never find out where you great-great-great grandmother hid all that gold.

Jesus told the Pharisees that they could discern the weather by the signs in the heavens but they could not discern the signs of the times. I fear not much has changed in this regard in the last two thousand years. As I stated in the letter….in a short time we will know….one way or the other.

Rancor, nowhere have I read where the world comes to an end but it does come to the end of an age.

I have read all of the comment about my letter with a great interest in each and everyone of them. I have to admit they are about what I expected. They range from disputing the information to mocking it in a humorous fashion. (I got to admit that I got a good laugh from some of your comments)

In the past couple of years that I have been examining (blood moons, tetrads, i.e.) information and as I talk to other believers (Christians) about it I’ve been surprised. Not only how little professing Christians knew about the subject, but also how little they seemed to care. Although I guess I should not be surprised because many Christians I know understand very little about what’s in their Bible. This being the case how can you expect the people in the world to understand it, you can’t.

Nancy Lieder---Aum Shinrikyo---House of Yahweh---Pat Robertson---Various Groups---Order of Golden Dawn---Howard Camping---Ronald Weinland---Various different groups---Jose Luis De Jesus---Warren Jeffs---Grigori Rasputin---John Hagee.

Anyone care to hazard a guess as to what all these folks have had in common the last decade? LOL

We have a winner---The various groups or individuals have all predicted our demise in the last decade. FYI-- there are 10 more that have predicted it in the future starting in 2020 and going forward.

It was in jest, no ill intentions intended. I just don't put much stock in spiritualistic things, unless you are talking about Magic 8 Balls. Those things are scary accurate.

Backwoods, to be accurate, I never disputed the information. Rather I disputed the correlation between the information.

Your dates are correct. However, there is a failure to mention the "blood moons" that have no significant events attached to them nor the fact that the moons that do appear near the events you mentioned occur a year BEFORE the "blood moon" tetrad.

The facts are not in dispute, the conclusions drawn from the facts are.

If you want to believe these blood moons have a prophetic quality to them, that is your business. But I implore you; make sure you are aware of all the facts not just the ones that Mr. Hagee thinks are important.

Rancor, I was involved in researching this currant tetrad of blood moons long before I hear about John Hagee’s book or teaching on it. This has often been in the news (web-sites) for over two years. Being a prophecy buff when I heard about it, first from my brother-in-law, then on the news it stirred an interest within me to find out more about it. I should point out that I have not had a TV for over five years so there are many things I do not hear about until long after the fact.

Rancor, you agree that the dates are correct and as I looked into the history of the Jewish people and Nation of Israel I found the facts to be correct. I had a post removed yesterday (why, I don’t understand) but I hope you had a chance to see it before hand. In it tried to address some of your points as to where I’m coming from.

Rancor, in no-way am I saying this is the end of the world. (As I was accused of and humorously maligned) What I am saying is, that the odds are very good for, and I do believe, we are going to see significant events take place in the Middle East that will affect the whole world. What is about to take place in the next year and a half in very “unique.”

Now MTOMTO can tell us how you catch a “unique” rabbit.
