There’s good money to be made by getting college students drunk. And, apparently, in State College, there’s good money to be made by not selling booze at all....

Of course, Penn State would never hurt its own tuition cash flow (mostly financed by taxpayers) or its athletic teams by having a policy that anyone convicted of public drunkenness, underage drinking, etc., is EXPELLED for one 365-day year. That would have legal force if made part of an acceptance agreement signed by students and, where appropriate, parents or educational financiers. No refunds, either. But then again, Penn State would rather bribe. It's less expensive. Kinda like paying off the mob, don'cha think?
