BrookP, "then I have no time for such a nasty, threatening, torturing being". Fortunately, He has time for you. One way or the other you WILL one day acknowledge that Christ is King. I will pray that your eyes will be opened before it is too late. God bless YOU, sister.

formerres, re your Feb-13-14 11:49 AM post: grammar is no longer a player. Look how many sentences are ended with prepositions. National broadcast news shows and virtually all newspaper/magazine articles ignore the rule. I even find myself guilty of being grammatically lazy and ending with prepositions. Sadly, many who read this won't even be able to define "preposition". It's the "dumbing down" of a once-great America, and part of the plan for her soon-to-be-realized demise.

BrookP, "Truely, I'm sure there are worse, but in my OPINION this guy is severely brainwashed and is uneducated about the natural world." Let's discuss "the natural world". in "the natural world" with very few exceptions (worms, for example), it takes one male and one female to procreate. In "the natural world" left to themselves, all gays would expire after just one generation. There would be no procreation using their methodology. Or is theirs "un-natural"? Hmmmmmmm. Ya gotta love "the natural world".

whatever, (Feb-13-14 9:04 AM post) you do realize "religion" is nothing more than a person's beliefs. You understand that your rejection of Christ, and embracing humanism is YOUR religion, don't you? So, everyone has a warped mind? I think what you were trying to say was that Christianity opposes YOUR personal beliefs.

The difference between sin & shame is this: "It's a sin to put it in and a shame to pull it out"

A lawyer in Warren, Pennsylvania told me that one back in 1977.

ClandestineOwl, in my humble opinion, you are just as wacked as the writer. "where you will eternally die but never die, eternally burn but never burn." If that's you speaking, then you are a very mean person. If it's your god speaking, then I have no time for such a nasty, threatening, torturing being. A toddler in his terrible twos is more moral than that.

First thing I will say. Just because you do not believe in the Bible or God does not decay any fact in the Living Word. Jesus Christ was living, died and rose from the dead three days later The ten commandments are given to us to show us what sin is. It impossible to live according to the law because of sin. That is why Jesus came. To bear our sins. He died for us. Everyone..WHOSOEVER! Just because you don't believe means you will someday face the God of Abraham, be on your knees and confessing Jesus Christ as Lord. And yes there will be many proffesing Christians going into a firery pit and a place the bible calls a LAKE OF FIRE. Because you don't believe does not put out the real fire that is hell, where you will eternally die but never die, eternally burn but never burn. The worse part of it is separation from the Only True and Living God. So REPENT! The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Brooke,I do follow your thinking much of the time.We differ in that I believe all religion ,spiritual beliefs etc. can be a good thing for people to practice them.Personally I don't think that anyone has the market cornerd that if you don't do it my way your wrong.I don't believe we have the capacity to know all there is to understand. My problem is really with this non-sense that you must be saved or face the fires of hell.To me its Pretty rediculas to believe that up to 90% of the world will attend hell.I can share that from my experience that people who believe in something out side of self handle the trials and tribulations of life more positively.I did say little positive outcome not no positive outcome.Whether you worship the wind, sun, jesus the buddah etc. it can work with positive benefit.but Im not saying your experience is wrong for you. "SAVED" doesn't even apply to all Christians.Be honest, be positive, love and help others. All will be fine.imop

How did the word “sodomy” come about? It comes from the Bible and the story in Genesis about Sodom and Gomorrah and describes there sex-ual practices.

How does the dictionary define the word (Sodomy), it says, “Sodomy is unnatural or abnormal sex-ual inter-course.”

What a waste of space. The bible is a story book and how about we go back to the time when people were killed because they didn't go along with christian beliefs. Such a farce you are Hannah.

archaeo1, I would totally disagree on one of your points. "to be devoid of faith has little positive outcome." Millions of people disagree, if you are referring to God faith. Millions of people lead wonderful, productive, caring lives-all without god faith. We all have a sense of purpose and direction without religion.

I don't believe that religion warps minds..If done in moderation it can be very good for people.Case in point ,religion of Any kind gives a person faith a sense of purpose and direction. It is all good when handled properly.. to be devoid of faith has little positive outcome. Case in point # 2 many wars and deaths have happened do to religious differences. my GOD is better than your GOD. NO moderation..IF GOD wanted everyone to think and believe the same then they would.Probably not his intention.. To each his own and to thine own self be true.just believe in something other than yourself. As for the writer he has been delusional long before the 8th grade picnic..count your blessings ..BE greatful. Actually all them GODS ARE JUSTABOUT THE SAME.

I'm sure we can all agree that the president knows nothing about insurance and healthcare, as he changes his own law every morning! Like Charles Krauthammer said, "It's as if the president has stumbled upon a White House tour and realized HE'S THE PRESIDENT." Haha That kills me!

Sir: Shouldn't you leave the condemning to your God who (don't you say?) reserves condemning for himself? Better to work on understanding the great variety of people you would say he created in the meantime. I am sure your God will appreciate your effort to understand his creation when you get to his Heaven, even if you can't appreciate the intrinsic value of this for yourself here and now.
