@commomsense--WOW! Shall we rant? There is an old Indian saying,"Don't criticize your neighbor until you have walked a mile in his moccasins". How about putting your name on the ballot for the next school board elections??

Does anyone think they care? They are voting for their paychecks. There are so many not doing their jobs,( if you need an assistant it is quite obvious you are incapable of performing your job). Don't cry you are overworked because it is a lie. Don't cry about new regs etc. Most of you were hired because you have the right last name or have special connections. Sounds like who plays 1st string on the sports teams. It is just a lack of fiscal knowledge, inefficiency, and waste. But the taxpayers will take it on the chin to keep your job. With the product that is coming from this school admin. and leadership they should be paying us.

I still think a 1% sales tax county wide will not hurt anybody the way a 3% tax increase will. And I also agree it's time for the union to fund their own retirement plan the way the rest of us do. As for health care, they, to, can sign up for obamacare.

Taxes up, service down. I am sick and tired of the non-stop fundraisers my kids bring home. My $300 per MONTH is not enough in taxes? I concur that it's just a matter of mismanagement. Thanks a lot unions.

I was under the impression that closing all of these schools was supposed to stop taxes from being raised. I guess not. The children are the ones that have continued to sacrafice. There is no more to take away from the kids. Enough is enough. Let administration start sacraficing!

Normally I am all for anything to help out schools. In this case I feel like it is less of a lack of funds issue and more of a funds management issue.

But I am not on the board nor have I reviewed their budget.
