I'm sick of sickofit encouraging slovenliness, disease, danger and disaster. Maybe the redevelopment authority should redevelop HIM.

Dear Sick...I agree with Spark. I don't care where you live but I for one would not care to live near a vermin infested, junk house or junk-filled yard that would bring the value of my property down.

I'm glad there is a group to oversee blighted properties! Who wants to live next to a vacant building, with broken windows, no doors, and vermin running in and out? I'm glad neighbors report these buildings to the authority. The article states there is a vacancy on the Redevelopment Authority--if you have such a strong opinion about these matters step up and volunteer to be on the authority.
