Passing a school bus with its red lights activated is not a good idea. Young children may be running to or from that bus....

The first problem with the bus driver not turning it's emergency lights on until commercial vehicle have passed is ,trailing and other approaching vehicles don't know they are dropping off children,and just like flagger if they try to be nice and let truckers go by first , they SPEED by at an unsafe speed. Why are we in such a hurry today? I suggest they adjust their schedule if they can't stand to wait. Bikers must also start to obey laws.They think they are exempt from traffic laws and can ride the road,run red lights,jump curbs and ride side walks,so they have clear sailing. COME ON POLICE,monitor and fine them as well.

gravel or dirt, STOP, grass ok. and if any bike rider is riding 3 or 4 feet from the curb, STOP or you will be in violation of staying in lanes of traffic.. New gas tax, an extra 28cents per gal... be careful on driving these days, many hidden costs and when I went to school, I had to walk to school, from next to the Holiday Inn. Now I can't afford the school taxes, let alone any fines for driving on the roadways when the buses or bikers are using the roadways. They have PRIORIY

Yes, I double check to see where the kids are and proceed after the bus red lights are out and the bus has started to move!
