On thought I have that could save money would be not allowing kids in the summer playground program to waste LARGE amounts of water all summer long by filling the rut around the merry-go-round with water I have seen this happen over and over and have also seen the same kids turn on the water fill a container and walk away not bothering to turn off the faucet. I'm convinced that the water is not free and that someone somewhere is paying for that water, could the adult that is tasked with supervising the playground be tasked with a common sense cost saver of not allowing gallons upon gallons of water to be wasted on an almost daily basis every summer?

Why don't we put up more Xmas lights downtown? Or pay back another million dollars someone stole? Got all that money from streetscape, why not replace the traffic light at Liberty & Penn? Or just buy everything on credit, the federal government does. Or just raise the taxes, that's the easy answer, and drive more people out of town.
