I am disappointed in this ruling as well. Hopefully they will no longer receive money from the United Fund.

The laws protecting these kind of offenders need to change.Neglect and Cruelty are the same thing. If you "neglect" a child it is cruelty. We need to to change this laws.Animals are a part of most peoples family s as much as a child is.The court may have "forgiven" her.But The animals lovers will never forgive or forget. There was too much that was never brought forward.

While unsanitary kennels may not constitute as cruel, it is neglectful. Illness can arise from unsanitary conditions. And of course New Hope cleaned up the kennels-- they had the cruelty officers eyes on them. We'll see what happens when all returns to normal and eyes are no longer on the agency.

I find it funny you talk about not forgiving for forgetting when the Humane Society failed their kennel inspection for some of the same things that New Hope did I guess no one will be forgiving karen kolos
