It is possible to like volunteer firemen but have serious doubts about the cancer presumption law. "Like" does not mean "give away the store." Not defending Rapp, but I, too, have reservations about the breadth of that law. Also, the new law needs to have some limits on firefighter callout to allow employers to stay open, e.g., pharmacies, emergency rooms, police departments, etc.

yet at recent C.O.G. meetings Rep. Rapp stated she would look into changing the cancer presumption law that passed a few years ago. That law helps protect volunteer firemen if they develop cancer from there actions as a fireman. So which is it going to be like volunteer firemen or not? BTW I don't think she could tell you all the departments in her district unless someone coached her.
