There was much more to the Hunting and Fishing Museum story than was reported. Either this was known ,and for some reason, purposely not let out to the public. The museum would have come with a huge debt attached to it for this county. It almost happened, folks and the chamber and the commissioners were ready to accept the deal. Don't assume either entity (chamber or county) know what they are doing. Whether or not there was public support for the museum was not the issue. Just as now, most townships have no idea what the facts are as the county attempts to hand over tourism promotion to the chamber. When money is involved in whatever decisions need to be made, all facts involved need to be clear to the citizens before the deal is finalized. Once again, there is much more than we are being told about the attempted takeover of the WCVB by the chamber, facilitated by the County.

In no way could I speak for the Seneca Nation, but I have a hard time believing that they would be in support of this.

It is a shame that they decided not to build a hunting and fishing museum in the county that would have attracted thousands to the counties. The money is wasted on a bike trail that will be used limitedly. It would have been better to include bikes on the Rocky Gap trails with minor changes for bikes. The only hunting sighing museum I ever saw in the local papers was for Forest County. The musarium project was a lot different.
