School District attendance still falling

Total attendance down 2 percent from last year

Tenth-day enrollment numbers are in for the Warren County School District and, compared to last year, enrollment is down about 2 percent....

Sure glad we're locked into four high schools instead of two, and all the tax dollars and debt it takes to pay for them. NOT!

I'd be curious to know what the county population decrease is. Aside from the decreased student enrollment and fewer schools/classrooms needed, there is also the question of overall population decrease. Someone has to pay the taxes to pay for the schools, regardless of one, two or four. If the board won't base their long-term facilities plan on student population, maybe they should look at taxpayer numbers.
