Some yard sales just seem to last forever

September 20, 2013

While there was agreement at Monday night’s Warren City Council meeting that perpetual yard sales shouldn’t be permitted, what has to be done to stop such sales isn’t so clear....

Although I agree isn't there more important things to be worried about in this soon to be ghost town?

oh crikey, now the city manager will probably start charging a fee for you to have a yard sale in your own yard now. There's a woman that lives over on prospect that constantly writes letters and complain s to the city(I know this because she complained about my friend's garden because it hadn't been weeded, as well as other resident's minor little infractions), so the city should slap the nuisance order on her for nit picking. my friend works 3rd and has some serious health issues going on right now and the nit picker is just cau\ is causing her more stress over a couple weeds.

Re-enforces my point. They love to make laws but not enforce them. Don't make laws you can't or don't enforce!!!!

Love this exchange proves my point: She added, "We can put some limits on those by an ordinance that would apply to every property in the city" but noted she was not sure whether anything is currently on the books.

"I think you'll find we do have one," Mayor Mark Phillips said.

So why haven't these people already be warned and or cited?
