The idea is to put it where people can see it and visit a special display inside the center where they can access information about the PDM plant in Warren's part as the "birthplace" of the actual Arch. People will be able to see video of the the construction of the Arch, and connect with the Visitor Center at the Arch in St. Louis, plus photos and interesting memorabilia from Boilermakers and their families. The Market St. site is not suitable for this. The PDM Boilermakers traveled to St.Louis to reclaim both their's and Warren's rightful place in history. The Visitor Center is a safe and convenient location for the display. 50th anniversary Oct. 2015.

I was raised in Warren and have spent many years in STL. I have had many opportunities to visit and go up the arch. There is no info at arch area that refers to Warren having anything to do with arch construction. Sad that Warren has such pride and the world beyond will never know! I feel bad for someone, but not sure who. No, wait, I feel bad for our relatives that was on that project (my uncle too), that's who I feel bad for!

Leave it where it is. All it does is remind us what Warren once was.

My goodness, leave it alone. Up until a few years ago, wasn't it tucked away off of Lexington Ave at CBI? I can understand the Visitor Center trying to create more traffic, but that isn't the place for it. Frugal has the best idea. Include the arch location in a flyer and let people explore.

My stepfather, Marshall California, was on of the men who helped construct the arch standing in St. Louis. I believe he would enjoy the replica standing in the city of Warren. I myself think that it would be more visible to people on Pa. Ave. But not at the visitor center.

That place is seldom open when I go by and isn't open on weekends when people are traveling through to camp, boat, hunt, etc. why bother? Unless you build a large one which spans across the 4 lane at the city line, now that would be cool.

I notice the lack of any quantified information on visitor traffic to the Visitor's Center. I have driven past many times and have maybe seen the employees vehicle in the lot. BTW, notice to truckers, you are not welcome.

Leave it where it is so there is a reason to come to town. Have a video about it and flyers in the center, telling people to come to Warren to see it. A no brainer!

Here is a novel idea. Leave it where it is at, and the Visitors Center can give out flyers saying where people can go and see it. Are they expecting to move everything of interest to the center? I guess that way you can see all there is to see in one stop.

Why not move it to Youngsville at that beautiful "Gateway " they are building there? Roll up your sleeves and do something constructive that will pay off?
