Enviro-group plans suit against WTC

An environmental group has filed a notice of intent to file a lawsuit against Waste Treatment Corporation for alleged illegal discharge of oil and gas drilling wastewater into the Allegheny River....

What is "residual waste" anyway? Is this fracking residue just being pumped through the waste water treatment system? Let's keep ourselves and our kids out of the water downstream of Warren and perhaps post for boaters at ramps! Onward with the lawsuit.

DonnaC, did not the article say the water WAS TESTED above the Harmer Street WTC and then just past it. I believe that is what the article reported.

I wonder how often this "Enviro-group" tests the discharges from United Refining, and how much of these toxins actually originate there and are carried downstream.
