A museum seems feasible & interesting regarding the building of the dam, the politics involved, the long history of****proposals, the battles of the SNI with the US gov, the alternative****proposal which was shunned, Johnny Cash's involvement in the issue and the song he wrote (beautiful song still played regularly in Salamanca), the life and culture in the river valleys of the displaced people prior to the dam, the entire history if the area, etc. It would also be a place to house any material objects from displaced communities prior to the dam, which seem scarce, as well as pictures & video. Possibly could have volunteers stationed at the museum, maybe people that were displaced. Location... maybe at the Kinzua marina?

I have been trying to capture all the information about Kinzua and nearby villages for a long while, with no interest from Warren Observer,Bradford Era,and as a notice in the local paper stated their would be a return of "Our Town Warren",I suggested to WPSU,let's to a "Our Town Kinzua" interview. Some of the Kinzua residents have passed since I contacted the above, and much valuable information has been lost.I offered to gather residents and bring them together for this interview, but they have all declined.Facebook offeres a site ,"Friends of Kinzua" with many photograghs, from friends of Kinzua such as Mike Mohney and Kinzua's ball team,Earlene Peterson's aireal photos,Tom Snow submitted street photos ,Joe Ely with many photos of the Sugar Run area of their farm and The Sernic Tavern, and Diane DeMarco with many photos of the village of Morrison.
