With that amount of money, can't they build a new Municipal Building ? Maybe build it by "big blue", then no need for paving.

How interesting. There is never a shortage of people to criticize City officials no matter what they do, yet there were only two people running for four Council seats in the Primary last month. If you don't like how the City is being governed, then get out of your computer chair and circulate some petitions for the Fall election.

Why do the street scape for Liberty ST like they are supposed to. Just because the pet project part failed doesn't mean they should scrap the remaining project.

If they want to use state money to fix the building, reapply. This money was allocated for a specific purpose. That purpose is no longer relevant. The article's intro is misleading. It's the state, not the city, that has this money set aside. The state is nearly broke itself, what with pensions, highways, etc. Return the money. Finance the municipal building, a local structure, with local tax dollars.

Yea, and then next year they can raise our taxes another 30%. Oh, my bad it's grant money not tax money. Where do they think the state gets grant money from?
