New trees foreseen for top of river bank

When Penelec came in and took down 21 trees along Pennsylvania Ave. W. last year, the intent was that the City of Warren would replace them....

It sounds as if these smaller trees will block the view of the river. But, flowering trees would be pretty in the spring. Pink dogwood is pretty and not that fat to block a view very much.

Please NO NON_NATIVE TREES. Replace flowering pear (allergy nightmare) with Serviceberry and European hornbeam with a native hornbeam or viburnum. If you want to attract native birds use native trees & shrubs

Why not? We have a fountain with a non-native species theme just down the avenue?

Ask someone who parks regularly on PA Ave. West if they want to attract birds?
