Non the less the more people looking the better the chance of finding a missing person. That is just common sense! Sure we don't know the whole story, we don't need to know it, all we need to know he is missing and it sure sounds to me the family wants him to be found. We have already seen the wonderful job the authorities have done in finding the Sharp boy. And who usally ends up finding a missing person? A citizen usally ends up calling in a found body. Did Erie handle the search for the young boy a month ago like this? No! They had search parties of private citizens out looking. Plain and simple did the way they wanted it done here in town work? No! If more people were looking would there have been a better chance of finding him? Yes. Common sense! I'm so sorry for the family and I do hope he is found safe.

Nic- Just because details are not in the paper and being spread around does not mean that law enforcement isn't aware. Does anyone respect privacy anymore? Obviously the family and law enforcement know more than what is public information, which reverts me to my previous sentence. People need to get a life, mind their own business and let the family be.

@workingclassstiff....if there is "a lot more to the story" as you claim, why wouldnt someone go to law enforcement with this information???

Jimmy-have you wondered why the family isn't criticizing any of the searches efforts? It's because there is a lot more to the story. Let it go already. This article is bogus, people are entered into these data bases almost immediately.

Should never have waited this long to ask for help. Should have never stopped the public from helping with a orginzed search party.
