The County has zoning, a planning and zoning commission, and a zoning hearing board. That is the way the process is supposed to work. Skipping to the County Commissioner Board is not the proper process. It injects politics (and all that entails) into the process. Residential areas need to be protected.

That's right, stop fighting. Bordello next to school? Great! Factory next to nursing home? Wonderful. New building, not enough parking, so the on-street parking for blocks around is clogged and visitors to residents have no place to park? Superb! Yep, that zoning sure is a bother. Warren is empty because I-80 went where it is, because manufacturing shriveled, because "developers" promised more than they could deliver. But you're such a naysayer. HEY! Aren't you gonna run for city council? School board? They could use your negativity!

Sugar Grove will just end up like Warren, empty as can be. Warren used to and still does fight everything that comes this way and it confuses them as to why the population keeps shrinking and nothing replaces the businesses that have left. It's really a very easy answer, stop fighting everything.
