Bigfoot? Yep, they’ve seen it here

March 5, 2013

This whole area is “squatched out.” The crew from Animal Planet’s Finding Bigfoot came to the Allegheny National Forest in the fall to check on reports of sasquatches in the area....

I took the show with a grain of salt, but really enjoyed seeing our area on television.I hear some say they were actors on the show, but I saw a few people I knew, and many places that were real.I found the show deliteful, even if I am a non-believer.

Watched the show. These were real people I was able to pick one out in the town meeting that I know. Is the big guy out there? He could very well be, I will believe when I see him with my own eyes, other than that I'm sceptic. As for the show it should be on the comedy channel! Every little sound, eye shine, smell, is Bigfoot, really guys! There are other critters out their and camping alone like bobo did is just stupid in that forest. It was entertaining, but would like that hour of my life back!

Camping in the ANF alone is stupid?

Regardless you don't have to worry about Bobo. Did you notice he was on TV? That means there was a camera person there with him. Doh!

But did he spend the night? And yes camping alone out there is stupid! You obviously have no idea what's out there! And no not referring to the big guy!

Camping alone in the ANF is not stupid, it's fun. I have done it many times, it's very relaxing.

Seriously? I have also done it several times and plan to continue. Obviously you think there is something there that isn't.

I know what I've seen so camping alone is asking for trouble ! You go right ahead! I'll camp with a group! Years ago yes but not anymore. I wish you the best if you are alone! I have seen too much to feel safe out there alone at night! And no not Bigfoot! He doesn't scare me even if he is out there!

Jimmy1 are you Yetiman? If so you're talking about your time dimensions or whatever? I have to tell you I bet I've spent more time in that Rimrock area than most people. I hike, trail run and camp there in the summer, I XC ski, hunt and camp in the winter in the area I've never run into or seen the things you have.

I guess I'm just not channeling the same energy you do when you go up there.

Jimmy1, are you referring to the mobile meth labs in the ANF? I understand that they are a problem, and that was from speaking with a PSP Trooper.

Meth labs scare me.

Thanks for the heads-up, I'll be on the lookout for cheese sandwiches hanging from low lying tree branches now.

Actually I'm more concerned of the big cats, yea I know they aren't out their either! Sorry wife and I have seen them twice and a friend had one sneaking up on him when he happened to spot it. They are sneaky and I'm more concerned with them then a bear. You can say they aren't out their all you want and so would I have, but my wife and I have both seen them twice and no question about what we saw. So enjoy camping alone, hope you wake up in the morning. I, only believe what is out there when I see it with my own eyes, until then I'm a sceptic.

Go to ****cougarinfo**** Big cats kill people in this country every year and you never really hear about it, although it is mostly in the western states.

Jimmy1 I spend a lot of time like I said in those woods. I've seen plenty of bear, coyote (more tracks than actually seeing coyotes) and lots of bobcat tracks, I've got a glimpse of a few bobcats but they are elusive.

If you're hinting that their are cats bigger than bobcats I need to call BS. I have yet to see one in the many hours I've spent in the ANF I hiked over 200 miles in the ANF in 2012 never one BIG cast track. They must be hiding their tracks like the squatches do.

If there were Cougars or Squatches in our woods we'd know. Do you realize the thousands of game cameras that sportsman have out there? None, not one photo of either of these creatures. Not one track identified.

Simply because that are not there.

Sasquatch don't like cameras.

I think he may be referring to the CATerpillars that they are using to build roads for drilling and logging?

I only believe what I actually see, and yes the big cats are out there and yes there are game cam pics and I had pictures of one hit by a car I believe was near Sheffield. So yes they are there, just because you haven't seen them doesn't mean they aren't there, we have seen them and that's all the proof I need. Not once but twice once near jakes rocks and once at devils elbow. Absolutely no doubt what we saw.

Show us all on here the pictures! Produce one shred of evidence. Help convert me to a believer.

I think there are some people that see bobcats and think they've just seen a mountain lion.

How do you know I'm normal, btw?

Sure I'm opinionated, most people are, as are you opinionated steadfastly defending something is there that you can't prove.

Show me proof and help change my opinion.

Jimmy, You realize the photo you looked at could've been taken in Utah and the person told you it was Sheffield, don't you?

This day in age with all the internet hoaxes, there are more doctored pictures than ever before.

As far as a furry man. Do you realize that the first sighting was in 1958. There was never ever a sighting before this time. Once it hit the news sightings started happening regularly. Hmmm...

Cougars in PA, any carcasses found? any people complaining about pets or children missing? If they were here we know.
