Bigfoot? Yep, they’ve seen it here

March 5, 2013

This whole area is “squatched out.” The crew from Animal Planet’s Finding Bigfoot came to the Allegheny National Forest in the fall to check on reports of sasquatches in the area....

Jimmy 1 Your right there here along with bigfoot. Black helicopters and the PGC are no doubt working together. I heard from an inside source that there were 23 pairs Of big cats delivered in Northwestern pa. And yes they were bought and paid for by an insurance company. Just like the coyotes that they said weren't here. A insurance company paid for them. There were 200 of them delivered to Pa. Also according to an inside source they also have a video tape of kinzua nessie .Of course they'll never admit to this. They also monitor certain parts of the woods with sensor devices that you don't know about. LLR for someone who knows the kinzua area as well as you claim you sure as*****miss out on a lot of thing going on up there. I can promise you one thing I have spent a lot of time up there myself .Is all I can say is this if you don't work for the government you should be. Because with a line of B.S. a mile long your trying to feed us. I know what I've seen up there.

"Any "wild" mountain lion and the discovery of a legit eastern cougar in the wild would generate much excitement in the scientific community"

May I suggest that you visit Happy Valley on a Froday or Saturday evening?

6. Black panther sightings. Check the internet there are claims out there... There has never been a confirmed black cougar in recorded history. Any large black cat would be a melanistic jaguar, which does not even live in North America. If a so-called black panther is sighted, then it is undoubtedly an escaped captive that is not of North American origin.

5. "Black helicopter" PA Game Commission theories abound. I've heard that the PGC, in cooperation with the insurance industry, has a "top-secret" program that has been releasing cougars, coyotes, wolves, etc. into the wilds of PA for some years now. Of course, this is to control the deer population and thus reduce deer-car collisions and save the insurance companies money. If this is true, then where is the paper trail? Who do the PGC/insurance companies buy these cougars from? Why is there no public record of the state legislature approving such a program? But c'mon folks...even the CIA isn't THAT secretive! To increase profits, the insurance industry buys police radar guns...it doesn't buy the PGC cougars!!!

4. Why no carcasses? Even the Florida Panther, which is numbered around 100 animals at MOST is hit along the highways quite frequently. In fact, 2009 saw a record 17 number of Florida Panthers hit along the highways of south Florida. There are also a few that are shot each year either deliberately or accidentally, but manage to be recovered. If there have been these sightings all over PA for the past several decades, then why have there been ZERO carcasses recovered? You'd think that over the past 40 years or so, at least ONE legit wild cougar carcass would've turned up somewhere, if they were indeed roaming Penn's Woods.

Let's think about this rationally:

1. Any "wild" mountain lion and the discovery of a legit eastern cougar in the wild would generate much excitement in the scientific community, as well as headlines around the nation.

2. If there are indeed wild mountain lions in PA, then why no bona fide attacks on humans? In the west, particularly California, there are occasional attacks, even fatalities on humans by wild cougars. However, no recorded attacks on humans by wild cougars in PA, or any other eastern state for that matter, in modern times. Are these supposed wild cougars roaming all over PA just pacifists or something?

3. Why no photos on trail cameras? Cougars have now been confirmed in the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the upper peninsula of Michigan by photos found on trail cameras. Are these mystic PA mountain lions just that much smarter than those now found in MN, WI, and MI that they can manage to avoid ALL of the trail cameras in PA?

Would you like to be less cryptic? This is what causes doubts of creditability.

Why was the not carcass turned in, why wasn't the press notified? This would be a huge find and a huge story.

But to give cryptic replies as you do sorry nothing personal but it makes it harder for me to buy into.

Tell us why wouldn't you want to turn in the carcass?

And you're sure they weren't bobcats? I must say I'm envious, I'd love to see one.

Man if I hit one and I had a picture I'd take it to the newspaper. I would've also picked up the carcass and taken to the PGC, after showing it to the WTO.

Picture I saw was from a friends brother. He hit it! And everyone know you can't post a picture on here. They are indeed here. Seeing is believing and I've seen and so has my wife.

Jimmy, You realize the photo you looked at could've been taken in Utah and the person told you it was Sheffield, don't you?

This day in age with all the internet hoaxes, there are more doctored pictures than ever before.

As far as a furry man. Do you realize that the first sighting was in 1958. There was never ever a sighting before this time. Once it hit the news sightings started happening regularly. Hmmm...

Cougars in PA, any carcasses found? any people complaining about pets or children missing? If they were here we know.

Show us all on here the pictures! Produce one shred of evidence. Help convert me to a believer.

I think there are some people that see bobcats and think they've just seen a mountain lion.

How do you know I'm normal, btw?

Sure I'm opinionated, most people are, as are you opinionated steadfastly defending something is there that you can't prove.

Show me proof and help change my opinion.

I only believe what I actually see, and yes the big cats are out there and yes there are game cam pics and I had pictures of one hit by a car I believe was near Sheffield. So yes they are there, just because you haven't seen them doesn't mean they aren't there, we have seen them and that's all the proof I need. Not once but twice once near jakes rocks and once at devils elbow. Absolutely no doubt what we saw.

If there were Cougars or Squatches in our woods we'd know. Do you realize the thousands of game cameras that sportsman have out there? None, not one photo of either of these creatures. Not one track identified.

Simply because that are not there.

Jimmy1 I spend a lot of time like I said in those woods. I've seen plenty of bear, coyote (more tracks than actually seeing coyotes) and lots of bobcat tracks, I've got a glimpse of a few bobcats but they are elusive.

If you're hinting that their are cats bigger than bobcats I need to call BS. I have yet to see one in the many hours I've spent in the ANF I hiked over 200 miles in the ANF in 2012 never one BIG cast track. They must be hiding their tracks like the squatches do.
