There was a time, and I admit it was many years ago, that the end of the parade was wagons with garbage cans, so everyone along the route could pick up their own trash. The last time I was home to attend a parade we could find no trash bins and ended up carrying everything back to the car. People might surprise you.

The Mayor says "Hell no" the public should have a say in this. "That's what we got elected for." I believe we can change that Mr. Mayor. The way to expose the rats of irresponsibility and corruption is to shine the bright light of day on them.

The City of Warren has been "eating the cost of clean-up and security"??? And where does the "City of Warren" get it's revenue? From the taxpayers I believe? And thanks to irresponsibility and corruption, hundreds of thousands of dollars (if not millions) of taxpayers money have been squandered leaving the city digging for every last dollar like a rat scavenging for morsels of food after an apocalyptic incident. If monies had been handled properly and efficiently, no one would need to be discussing such minor things as parade security. WE already paid for it, THEY blew it. It worked well for many decades, now we all must pay for the irresponsibility of a few.
