Work to win

As a matter of fact, I work at Warren High and I "run the show" as the Mock Trial advisor. We don't have a sense of entitlement, we have a sense of commitment. We have worked very hard and are proud to be ranked first in the district. Perhaps "hours of work would be wasted" isn't the best word choice, but it's interesting that instead of commending the team for working hard, commentators are quick to disparage. The activity certainly builds many skills such as public speaking and the ability to think on your feet. I invite anyone interested to come to our final practice before we compete for the district title on Friday at the Courthouse after school.

Perhaps the self felt entitlement to win comes from the hours of hard work this team puts into practicing in hopes of victory, and lalala I would love to know the inside source you have that leads you to believe "it's run by one student"

Don't you know that since it's WAHS they are entitled to win? No one works as hard as they do. But, what do you expect when a student is running the show?
