Our opinion: Attempting fairness

The controversy over class ranking has as much to do with money as it does recognition....

I think if you want to put fairness/equality at the top, you do 2 things.

1) Continue to allow these kids to take these classes, because they are taking big steps in an attempt to maximize their potential and expand their knowledge, and they should face no punishment or catch any flack for that, if anything, they should be commended.

2) Make a decision on if a) the class is available to everyone, so it should count, just like elective in the schools that not all kids take, or b) since the class isn't taken at that school, only count towards rank the classes that they take at their school. Again, that will open the can of worm's with WCCC students/rank as well.
