HEY board members, get your head out of your###. how about the support staff who took a pay freeze, how about the teachers who took a pay freeze? how about the custodial staff who's staff was cut 40% and they have to do almost double the work. They can not get subs because of the budget, LOL. they can not hire because of the budget LOL, ALL support staff has to do more because we have less, teachers have to do more with less because of the budget LOL. but the adminastration has to do more **** and they get a raise..because of the budget LOL. BUT IT'S ALL ABOUT THE CHILDREN.

First off it's simple math that even with shelling out $9000 a month to the district big shots the WCSD is still saving money because its still less then Hufnagel was getting when you figure salary & benifits. Secondly and more importantly is that this $9000 monthly bonus is an unethical farce. How the board can approve and how the administration can accept is beyond belief. Even Hufnagel in the face of pay freezes stepped up and froze his own salary. Amazes me how people who for the last 2 years plotted for a pay freeze from every facet of the WCSD workforce can now in good faith take more money for an added workload. Building principals are constantly given more duties and work (ex. 2 principals at WAHS now do the work that was previously done by 3), teachers are constantly asked to do more in the face of cuts to staff (ex. larger class sizes)Custodial staffs are shorthanded & not permitted substitutes, no other group was compensated for an added workload. SICKENING!

It is the republican agenda. The rich get richer and the middle class does the work.

Taxpayers unite! Arthur Stewart should be removed from the board he proves time and time again he is not capable of making intelligent decisions. Support staff was asked to do more with no raise yet today we learn that he feels others should be paid more when expected to do more. WCSD is nothing but a joke! Add it up folks how many people could have their jobs back and be working with your children again. I see nothing about education going on except a lesson in GREED!

It must be nice to be able to spend an additional $10,000 a month while this circus goes on. How many people get a raise when a fellow employee leaves? Well when you have the taxpayers hostage and have a blank check account why not pad your pocket. There isn't one person there that has a full time job to begin with.
