Drizzle in the lower lying areas usually forms ice at higher elevations. They are responsible for the safety of all of the children.

The back roads are sheets of ice-- I know that mine was this morning. There is no way buses would have been able to make hills that are on some of the dirt roads without some extra attention from the road crews this morning.

Lol. We all survived! When I was in school we had 1 yes 1 day off for the weather, and 2 hr delay was not heard of!

Jimmy1, you can't put them in chains, the ACLU would be all over you for that.

Ever go around a downhill curve sideways on a full size school bus Jimmy? Must be you were either a town kid or lucky because the Bat@!$T crazy bus driver I had put us in the ditch almost every time it got icy. I remember all the high school kids in the back yelling YEEHAAAW and us little kids assuming crash positions.

"Ever go around a downhill curve sideways on a full size school bus Jimmy?"
Isn't that a line from the movie "Airplane"?

Town kid or not I'm pretty sure there were out of town kids on back roads that rode busses when I went too! So being a town kid or not has nothing to do with it! We went to school regardless of the weather! They are ridicules today with 2 hr delays and cancelations! Like I said we all survived! And we actually had winters back then.
