To ImaBeach, you might want to double check with a different pharmacy, if you don't want to use CVS. The letters that were sent out were purposely misleading. They make it sound like ONLY CVS will take Silver Scripts, when the truth is nealy EVERY pharmacy will. I'm not telling you NOT to use CVS if you want to; it's just that you do have a choice. The letter people received made it sound as though you don't.

I heard that the owners of the former Quality Markets want the space currently occupied by Rite Aid to be used as part of the "medical mall," so they raised the rent. Edwards is right, though. You can transfer your scripts out of CVS and to another pharmacy. Just because CVS bought the scripts doesn't mean they have to stay there. The KMart pharmacy has always been very helpful, also.

I know becaue of my insurance changing plans to CVS in July now Silver Script I have to go to CVS instead of Rite Aid,I felt bad as they went ou8t of the way in Rite Aid to be of help to you. I took a script in one day to CVS and told be it would be two hours before I could get it,,, someone told me to go thru drive thru as it is much quicker,,,guess I will try it next time I have to go there. I feel bad about Rite Aid.

Blame the property owner? Taxes are going up. Wages for building maintenance tradesmen are going up. Utilities are going up. If Rite-Aid thinks it can run things cheaper, BUY the building! Costs go UP! After all, it's Obama Time!

The cost went up substantially on Rite Aid's lease, making the profit margin anorexically thin. Blame the property owner, not the corporation.
