Please promise us in exchange for our vote that you will not plea bargain the heck out of every case that you prosecute! I'm so tired of seeing sex offenders, drug offenders and criminals getting 3/4 of their charges dropped in exchange for a guilty plea so our current D.A. "looks good." Then the guilty receive their little amount of jail time or probation in most cases, never learn a good hard lesson and are right back out committing crimes. Throw the book at the violent criminals and drug offenders and get them off our streets for good.

I agree Kelly14. I've heard that Mr.Greene is a great attorney and we need to see a change. People are not held accountable for their actions in this County. I hope to see his name in the Times Observer this time next year as our new D.A

Now now, the current DA isn't as worthless as you are saying. Well ok, you're right.

Another reason for the excessive plea deals is the fact that the current DA seems to lose a high percentage of trials. If you get a good trial attorney in the position, which Mr. Greene is, I would expect to see more cases go to trial. It makes sense that they would if he isn't afraid to lose.

I saw our current DA in action when I was going thru the jury selection process and he is pretty much worthless. Rob is a talented lawyer and would be a great DA.

I sat on a log at Camp Olmstead with Mr. Greene a few years back. We spoke for some time while our boys enjoyed the outing. He seemed like a genuine good guy. I hope he spares himself the ulcers of swimming in the polluted justice system in this “town”.
