The Chautauqua Lake Snowmobile Club was presented with the Community Service Award at the Mayville/Chautauqua Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting and luncheon held at Olives Restaurant in Mayville. The award is presented each year to an individual or organization who freely gives back to their community for the betterment of all. The Chautauqua Lake Snowmobile Club is an all-volunteer organization committed to providing the area with an extensive system of well-maintained snowmobile trails throughout the winter months. The group also has a major positive impact on the local economy of the Mayville/Chautauqua area by creating and maintaining these snowmobile trails that are used by residents and visitors alike.
