Tournament champs
The Warren U-14 boys soccer team won the Lakewood YMCA Indoor Youth Soccer Tournament championship on Friday for the second straight year. The team included, from left, in front, Joey Close, Max Pierson, Tyler Gigliotti, Steffen Blair, Tristan Boger, Spencer Zaffino and Chris Lindell and, back row, coach Mark Bauer, Quinn Boger, Tyler Mealy, Nathan Sandberg, Mitchell Dorunda, Bryce Bauer, Ryan Shattuck, Joseph Bell and coach Brian Mealy.
Booster meeting The Warren Wrestling Boosters will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at the Cornerstone Lounge. Youth soccer The Warren U14 boys soccer team competed in the Lakewood Family YMCA Indoor Soccer Tournament and won the championship on Friday for the second year in a row. The soccer team played Southwestern in the semifinal, and won, 10-3. The goals for the team were: Joseph Bell with two, Tristan Boger two, Quinn Boger two, Joey Close two, and Chris Lindell and Nathan Sandberg added one each. The assists for the team were: Ryan Shattuck with two, Tristan Boger two, Tyler Gigliotti two, and Max Pierson, Close, Spencer Zaffino, and Tyler Mealy one each. The goalies for the game were Sandberg and Lindell. Warren won the championship, 6-3, over Frewsburg. Tristan Boger and Bell had two goals each and Quinn Boger and Steffen Blair one each. Bell had three assists and Shattuck, Blair and Quinn Boger had assists. Sandberg was the winning goalie.

The Warren YMCA Powerhouse Gymnastics Team Level 3’s and 4’s competed in the Western PA Championships, hosted by Bradford, on Sunday.
The Level 3 and 4 teams each placed fourth.
