John Hamm, son of Lori Vancise and Robert Hamm, a graduate of Warren Area High School has recently made the Dean’s List at Clarion University, Venango Campus for a 4.0 grade point average. Hamm is also a participant of the honors program, ski club, volleyball, golf, Discovery Team, work study, and the campus fitness center.

Two Warren County students were named to the dean’s list at Northampton Community College, Bethlehem, for the spring semester. Wendy Kobojek of Russell, and Kristy Kuzminski of Sugar Grove met the requirement of achieving a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Georie Briggs of Clarendon, a graduate of Sheffield Area Senior High School, is a member of Lycoming College’s chapter of Gamma Sigma Epsilon, the national honors society that recognizes students for scholastics achievement in chemistry. Briggs graduated in May with a bachelor’s degree in biology.

Ten students from the Warren County Career Center were definitely up for the challenge – the Fuel Cell Challenge.
